Muvbox. The next generation
of diners and snack carts

3D MuvBox

Have Muvbox, will travel

Whether it is lobster in Montreal, cupcakes in London, pizza in Chicago, sushi in Tokyo, sausages in Geneva... the MUVBOX is only limited by the imagination. The business is positioned to sell self contained restaurant units made to order to the prospective restaurateur/operator's gourmet menu offering. The "ready to ship" MUVBOXes are easily transportable by rail, road or sea.

An eco chic diner

MUVBOX was designed to be environmentally-friendly. Recyclable and sustainable materials, solar power, local products and eco-friendly efficiencies, all coupled with a healthy culinary menu are key ingredients of the MUVBOX brand.

The Muvbox mission

The MUVBOX mission is to create a network of unique mobile restaurants based on the slickly designed recycled steel container. The proposition is straightforward: Keep it Simple, Delicious and Eco friendly. It is designed to create fun experiences worth sharing with others.

Fast food with gourmet appeal

The MUVBOX concept is based on offering fresh and reasonably priced local delicacies with an international audience in mind. The state-of-the-art kitchen is designed to produce simple culinary treats from fancy chips to pizzas to paninis to soups and beyond.

The man behind the box

Daniel Noiseux claims the rights to over 25 years as a successful restaurateur/entrepreneur. He brought the first wood oven pizza to Montreal, Canada in 1981 under the banner Pizzaiolle. With a background in architecture and graphic design, Noiseux has a unique penchant for marrying design sensibilities with high quality food service. His vision is to deliver high-end quality at value prices in an upscale restaurant environment. This is demonstrated at all four Pizzaiolle locations and at the MUVBOX in Old Montreal.

Noiseux grew up in the countryside of the province of Quebec. At age 14, he was given a Solex bike like the ones seen in French films. Fascinated, he took it apart and put it together over and over until he knew every part by heart. This was the beginning of a mild obsession for all things mechanical and automotive. “I like to understand how things are made and work. I got into motorcycles and cars, even before I had a license.” With a mild automotive obsession and having done a stint as a car salesman, Noiseux worked with Paul Deutschman, a well-know automotive designer, to realize and sell a high performance three wheel vehicle called the T-REX. This was the first of many unique design projects to come from Noiseux!

Although hugely motivated by design, it is not beauty alone that grabs Noiseux’s attention. Functionality is critical. He loves to use objects differently from their original intention, i.e. transforming a classic American diner into a pizza restaurant or a maritime shipping container into a lobster shack.

The MUVBOX was born when Noiseux saw the Push Button House sponsored by Illy Café at the Venice Biennale. This container - which transformed into an apartment in 90 seconds - made a huge splash the world over. Designed to impress even the high-brow arts crowd, the “container” was barely recognizable.  Based on this, Noiseux saw other possibilities and began to imagine a whole host of solutions to modern problems in the restaurant industry.

The first MUVBOX in Old Montreal has incorporated solar powered batteries to help basic day-to-day operations, as well as recyclable materials included in the frame, and biodegradable packaging for customers. Noiseux envisions upcoming iterations of the MUVBOX to include even more eco-friendly efficiencies. The notion of offering a sustainable restaurant solution to operators, coupled with healthy culinary menus, contribute to Noiseux’s ultimate mission:
TO DELIVER A FUN EATING ENVIRONMENT THAT RESIDES COMPLETELY ‘OFF THE GRID’.

With each generation, Noiseux believes the MUVBOX can make the greatest impact on the environment by barely having any imprint at all.
